Afterschool

The Ed. Fund's ASK (After-School Kids) Experience after-school program endeavors to infuse learning with fun and promote a positive conception of education for students in particular and the school community at large.

The ASK Experience at Pinole Middle School is a network of creative and inspired people whose common purpose is to nurture the full development of young people. We aspire to assist youth in discovering and developing their talents and shaping their characters so that they contribute to the world the very best of themselves. Our after-school program enhances and expands the educational experience for Pinole Middle School students by offering art classes and athletics. We believe that as our students engage in art and athletics they experience the benefit of discipline, community, and personal accomplishment.  We work to strike a balance between providing students with activities they want and the academic support they need.  This balance is critical to the student successes our program generates year after year.

The Ask Experience is held at Pinole Middle School Mondays through Thursdays from 2:45 - 6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 1:45 - 6:00 p.m., every day school is in session, beginning on the first day of the year and ending on the last day.

To participate in the ASK Experience, families of Pinole Middle School students pay $100.00 for each semester or $200.00 for the entire school year. This fee allows students to participate in any of the activities offered. Partial scholarships are available based on financial need.
