Bequests

A bequest is property given by will. Historically, the term bequest was used for personal property given by will and deviser for real property. Contact your estate lawyer about setting up the Ed Fund as a recipient.

Donor Advised Funds

A DAF is a designated fund where a donor makes a large contribution to a fund that is then dispensed to nonprofits and charities at a later time. As a donor, you get the tax benefit and can take your time to allot it. The institution that handles the money then provides you with a tax receipt. Speak with your financial advisor to set up the Ed Fund as recipient.

Employer Matching

Many employers have their own portals and systems that you can use to make a matched donation. Speak to your HR representative to set up the Ed Fund as a recipient of matching funds.
