The Ed Fund relies on your support to provide the services we offer to educators and students. Consider giving to the Ed Fund today so we can continue to move towards a more equitable future in public education.

Stocks & Bond

The Ed Fund is happy to accept your gift of stock or securities as a charitable gift for the important work in our community. Unlike selling the stock and donating cash, donating stocks eliminates the capital gains tax you owe, and maximises the amount given to us! We accept gifts via our brokerage accounts with Charles Schwab. To receive instructions on how to initiate a stock donation, please contact us for more information.

Bequests

A bequest is a donation made through a person’s will or trust. You can add the Ed Fund to your will by talking to your estate lawyer, or go to freewill.com.

Donor-Advised Funds

With a donor-advised fund, a donor makes a large contribution to a fund that is then dispensed to charities and nonprofits, like the Ed Fund, immediately or over time. Through a donor-advised fund, you can designate your money to be used for certain programs. Speak to your financial advisor to set up a fund.

Employer Matching

Some corporations will match employee donations, typically on a 1:1 ratio. Employers can match things such as: cash, stocks, and the value of volunteer time. You can contact your HR Representative to ask to add the Ed Fund to your employer matching program!

Buck-A-Month
