Eligibility
Contra Costa Chorale Vocal Music Studies Scholarship ($2,000 per student for 1 year)
- Must have participated in a high school choir program or other musical performances (instrumentalists may also apply if they accompany choirs)
- Minimum 3.2 GPA
- 1 Letter of Recommendation (2 preferable– if submitting two letters, at least one letter of recommendation must be from a music teacher/ choir instructor/ etc.)
- Demonstrate financial need
- Complete the FAFSA/Dream Act application by March 2, 2023
- Graduate from a public WCCUSD high school in 2023
- Plan to attend a 2-year or 4-year institution immediately after graduating from high school
Awards Available: 2
Schroeder Family Foundation Scholarship ($3,000 per student for 1 year)
- Must be an El Cerrito High School senior identifying as a student of color
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrate financial need
- Complete the FAFSA/Dream Act application by March 2, 2023
- Plan to attend a 2-year or 4-year institution immediately after graduating from high school
Awards Available: El Cerrito High School (2)
African American Scholarship ($1,000 per student for 1 year)
- Must be a WCCUSD senior identifying as Black/African American
- Minimum 2.3 GPA
- Demonstrate financial need
- Complete the FAFSA/Dream Act application by March 2, 2023
- Plan to attend a 2-year or 4-year institution immediately after graduating from high school
Awards Available: 5
Freggarrio Family Scholarship ($500 per student for 1 year)
- Must be a Richmond High School senior
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Demonstrate financial need
- Complete the FAFSA/Dream Act application by March 2, 2023
- Plan to attend a 4-year institution immediately after graduating from high school
Awards Available: Richmond High School (2)
Makana Pule Scholarship ($1,500 + per student for 1 year)
- Must be a Sylvester Greenwood Academy senior who has had experience with mental health/addiction issues (all applicants will remain anonymous)
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Demonstrate financial need
- Complete the FAFSA/Dream Act application by March 2, 2023
- 1 letter of recommendation (optional)
- Plan to attend a 2-year or 4-year institution immediately after graduating from high school
- Awards Available: Sylvester Greenwood Academy (1)
